Originally from the hudson valley in New York, Robert Beauchene has made Wilmington, North Carolina his home since 2004. He is a lifelong professional musician, photographer and woodworker who continues to pursue each of these creative endeavors with the same spirit as the day he started.
His award-winning black & white photography is an attempt to evoke a sense of what it actually feels like to experience the Cape Fear region. From historic downtown Wilmington to the various nearby beaches and rural areas, his work is meant to present a timeless series of images that capture the essence of this region.
He lives in Wilmington with his wife, Polly & their dog Ringo.
